Positive vibes for MM and son.

I have cleaning to do before the big day too, my mum is the sort who used to pull beds out from the wall every month to dust the skirting boards behind them, but then again she didn’t work full time and have a chronic illness so I cut myself a lot of slack & just do what’s visible!

Hello all and thanks for the vibes. He is out of surgery, has lots of nodules on this throat and a white section which they have taken a biopsy of. They dont think it is anything to worry about, but in their words, they can sometimes be wrong but they are very hopeful that it is nothing sinister.

Am a very relieved mum :-)

Sounds promising MM, gingers still crossed they're right :)

The house is a midden. Tree in place, tip run done.
Having a cuppa and then I need to wipe the mud from the wall in the hall and the back door (dog escaped his towel and spread half the fields around the house this week)

MM I hope you sleep better tonight like Columba said, no wonder it was a bad night
Power naps were briefly a thing but alas not in any office I ever worked

Very good news MM, let's hope their opinion is confirmed once all the tests are complete (I doubt they'd be so upbeat if they had any doubts though.) Phew.

A few more miles on the bike this morning. I was very glad to be on my bike when it came time to go home from the pub as a huge artic had got stuck on a mini roundabout on my route home and cars were going nowhere til he'd unstuck himself.

Sounds good MM, fingers crossed they're right (think they are just being cautious with the reservations by the sound of it)

This sounds good MM, I hope you can sleep better tonight, and hopefully the full reassurance you hope for comes soon.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
