How can you say no to HDS, what with McGoohan Badgering you?

[sorry]

taking baby for a swim and meeting a friend and his kid so I might get some laps in and secure 4 zones on WSW (my map is very carefully positioned).

I've been fired from reading at mass. About 20 minutes after mass finished last week, the priest asked my 13yo to read. And gave him the text to practise all week. I shall be hiding at the back wearing one of your HDS disguises so that I go incognito.

Good luck Gatliff peeps. I managed to get lost before leaving Edenbridge and did the 20k course in 3:16 and 28k.

The mince pies with custard at the end made up for it

Morning :)

Best of luck Gatliffers - looks a nice one :)

Glad HDSers all survived the experience - H-somewhere-in-the-middle would be better for me - then I might be tempted....

[Have an odd earworm to the "oops upside your head" tune - did you sing that one in the lido/bog ?]

need to go run, not run since the half last Sunday and so I have about 10 bugs to squish and am way down in WSW match.

Morning,
Good luck with whatever is happening in your life today :-)
I also haven't run since my half last Sunday, sitting here in my running gear but OH gave me my breakfast so will wait another half hour or so before I go.

Back from marshalling and trying to thaw out a bit.
Today's task is to de-mud my trainers, they're currently soaking in the kitchen sink.

I read LG’s comment as “haven’t run since half past Sunday” which I really liked.

'Half past Sunday' is a good time - only found on a runners clock ;-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
