Well done HDSer’s.

((Ymee))

Steady 10 miles on a toughish route with a couple of club mates this morning.

(((Ymee))) :(

Well done those who ran or swimbled and luck for racers.

Gentle plod around GRL involving the rescue of a teenage swan who had managed to get stuck the wrong side of the fence between the lake and the railway line.
It was fine, if rather cross, and ran off to the lake where I assume it got a massive bollocking from its mum, who was very stressed on our side of the lake.

Knee is turning pretty colours but was ok while gently plodding.

Pleased with the outcome of what was meant to be a gentle trot round Greenwich park in fancy dress; 49:30, course best by nearly 4 minutes, 4th best time ever, 6/35 in category as opposed to my usual bottom half of it :) And that's 150m of climb, it is not a fast course.

Back home from the Gatliff 20K. Me and Liebling saw Bint coming in to the registration as we were heading out.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
