Welcome aboard IT. :)

I have got a 2018 best at parkrun this morning ;-) - great fun of a mud fest followed by a lovely cuppa and chat with our Linds of this parish. Great way to start the year! :)

It’s very icy here now all the snow has gone and the rain from yesterday has frozen, so it was a careful run this morning to get me off the mark.

Morning! I'm still trying to warm up after just over 10k this morning - very wet and muddy. The sun promptly came out once I'd got home! My first proper run post lurgy (after a short tester yesterday) and not too much coughing my guts up so that was good.

Rosehips - my first tail-walking spot (it was called tail-running then!) was at Bedford parkrun! I remember a father and son combo stopping half way and I had to sprint to the next person picking up cones, etc as I went!

Happy New Year to all and sundry; hello and welcome, Irontubs; commiserations to Bint, hope drugs have kicked in by now.

Been for a brisk(ish) half-hour walk.

Excellent point, AR, bunting to everyone running today as you will all have got 2018's best time so far :-)
Got home early from work, hurrah, and the sun is shining. Unfortunately, hubby has to work this afternoon so I won't be able to go for another run, but shall try to drag the sproglets out into the fresh air.

Hello everyone great to see new faces here :-)

Thanks Serendippily - it was a long way but very slow. The weather was atrocious, Sod’s law, rain stopped as I sloshed through the door.

Morning folks. Welcome to 2018.
Double pr completed with coffee stop in between.

Legs not too bad. Even managed a competitive finish on pr 2, although slipped over on the final corner and did a great roll!

Saw a cheery RA @ Bracknell and a very hung over RRR-Caz @ Woodley ;-) Plus the Commandos at both.

OH is out , so have a peaceful day :-)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
