Dooogs! How lovely to see you again! All well I hope?

It was sunny first thing but it's clouded over now. I'll risk cycling to my strengthening class even though showers are forecast. It was actually quite fun cycling in the cloudburst last week :-)

Morning, everyone. That sounds like a good idea, Columba (700 half-miles) - I'm tempted to recalibrate my aims in metres or yards.

Off to the salt-mine now (new desk location - exciting or traumatic, depending on perspective) then Lala's U-9 football training... and then, if the house is still in one piece, maybe a run.

(Col RH) - begetting offspring like an Old Testament patriarch*, mostly - up to four (and done!) now.)

Hey, daisy! See above - are you based in Exmouth or still the Cotswolds now? I was getting very confused by your parkrun locations... ;)

Still Gloucestershire based but we've got a place on the East Devon coast as well now. It tends to be that if we're at the seaside for the weekend I run but if we're in the Shire, I volunteer. These choices have nothing ;-) to do with the fact that Exmouth is a much easier course than Cheltenham if you're looking for a decent age grading :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Merrymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
