Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning all

A heavy legged 4 Miles this morning after last nights track session was meant to be 5 but after 8 in total last night and the right choice of not over doing things and suffering burnout so early in the training cycle. The right choice was made....

17 Miles this week already and with at least the same again over the weekend it’s enough for the moment!

[does a little dance for lemon]

I was planning Xfit, but I cannot do much of the set so I changed my mind. Then I looked again and decided just to go along, do what I can, and find alternatives for the rest. I've got an annual subscription so even if I just do the warm up and stretching, I'm getting something out of it.

Well done to blood donors. I really should get on and do it but I always seem to be on anti-inflammatories and get banned :/

Trains are still up the creek so I'm drying my damp kit from this morning over the radiator under my desk just in case I need to run home again this evening.

Need to do some core/strengthening stuff when I get in this evening. Son1 wants to write me a schedule and keeps badgering me to use his pull up bar.

Morning (just).
Sympathy to Carp with bookshelf problems. I have fiction arranged by author A to Z but non-fiction is hard to classify, and outsize books have to go on shelves of their own, no matter what the topic.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
