Morning all. Oh dear, actually, forget that, its now the afternoon.
Just got back from my first run since Beachy Head. I must admit, I felt okay. Trouble is, now I'm in the armchair, I can feel my legs aching a bit at the back of my thighs. I think I may use this as a good excuse for an afternoon nap.

Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
Wish I could have one of those!
5ish miles today, would have been more but a stupid dog owner wasn’t paying attention so a massive hound came *galloping* at us and freaked my friend out, I spent 5 mins shouting at this stupid woman to call her dog and said dog was not interested, so we came back the short ugly route instead of the river. I’m not scared of dogs but honestly, this thing was quite intimidating. Very annoyed.

Fleecy, now Ive woken up, I have canine story for you. Last week as I was running along Hove Promenade, one of those little yappy dogs made a beeline for me. I remonstrated with the owner & pointed out to her that every hundred yards or so, there are bloody great signs on the promenade stating, "All dogs must be on a lead on the Promenade." The cheek of it, she told me that her dog was on a lead. I pointed out to her that, yes, her dog was attached to a lead, unfortunately, the other end of it wasn't in her hand. I must admit, I'm not a great dog lover, I'm sure they can smell the fear coming off me.

What a stupid woman. My friend is terrified of dogs, she literally shoves me in front of her when we’re near one! I am sick of encountering stupid dog owners have so little control over their dogs that they intimidate passers-by.

Kim 700.
Haven't looked at the double Daisy on the front page yet, jumped straight into the thread I was last on.
Have not run since Thursday on account of Problem Knee. To add to the fun, my toenail has come off. Knee is left, toenail is right.
