And, may I say, what a splendid photo. *runs round thread with pants on head*
I had a tough trail run this morning, the Goosefair Gallop 10K in Nottinghamshire. I hear the winner came in at around 40 minutes so I was really pleased to do 50 minutes. I'm aiming for 46-47 in a couple of months at the Percy Pud 10K which is a lot flatter so this went perfectly to plan. Took mate for a beer after and you could order a little plate of pigs in blankets. Brilliant morning.
Well done LG, it's not always easy to get out and get some miles done on Sunday after a busy Saturday.

*wonders whether Som took the bananas off his head before putting the pants on it, or whether the pants went on top of the bananas*

I would say the pants went on top to save the bananas sliding off

I would generally put the pants on top of the bananas, but Som may take a different approach.
Running was fun this morning :-). I did a bit of a bimble round town then slowly ground my way up Peak Hill to wait for OH. Watching the cyclists coming up that hill was not exciting, because they were mostly going very slowly (it's very steep) but it was good to see that people could actually cycle that slowly and not fall off or come to a complete halt which is always my worry when in the bottomest gear possible ;-).
Then I ran back home and did some fartlekking on the way and that was fun.

Top day - 12 miles of Race Angel duties - 8 of which were up and down the same stretch of hill Got to run alongside some lovely Fetchies, and my RR crew in their Metric Marathon and dry a few tears and hold a few hands - genuinely a privilege for Fleecy and 700 miles (does this mean we all have to colour coordinate with our background photos....)
