Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good running and racing, everyone.

GC PB bunting

I ran 4 very slow miles along the canal. OH made me go. heart It was lovely until the last mile which was very ploddy. My calf is definitely there<\i>. Not sure what to do about it. Am thinking of entering a 10k 2 weeks today. Hm.

Also not sure if I can do parkrun in Paris next week when I'm supposed to be on a relaxing weekend with my Mum and sis. What do you think? (as if I didn't know ;))

Race done, always said I wasn't out for a PB today but never thought I wouldbe that closeto getting one....not unhappy though as I got a course PB by over a minute...next year maybe ;-). Its a lovely course but today waiting about was really cold and windy but once you got going the conditions were perfect.

Your race sounds lovely AR

Sevenoaks tri was a lot harder than I expected. But I got through it.

I'll be back next year too: I managed to win a free place in a prize draw after the race!

Details will be blogged once I've found some energy.

LindsD the parkrun in Bois de Boulogne is fairly flat, if that makes a difference. Slight but v gentle ups & downs.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
