Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I had a half of Irving Brewers Frigate golden ale (3.8%) yesterday. It was good, made by a small Portsmouth brewery.

A fine comprehensive round up, Ocelot Spleens. I think I have 2.5 beers in common with your list this year.

Been a bit lax on keeping up my listings, never mind collating. Just had Uprising (Northern Monk).

I reckon that is one of the great things now, smaller breweries mean you get different beers wherever you are or go!

Conference duty again last week, and I'm very close to having to split out my cans/bottles list:

44. (bottle) Tenant's Light (3.5%) A local brew (I was in Glasgow). Tasted watery, but not in a bad way.

45. (bottle) Peroni Nastro Azzuro (5%)
46. (bottle) Budweiser Lager Beer (4.5%) Obviously I wouldn't have chosen this, but it was the only cold bottle left at this point in the reception.

47. (bottle) West Munich Red (4.9%) Another local beer, not to my taste but well brewed.

48. (bottle) Cobra Premium (4.5%) Surprised this wasn't already on my list.

49. (bottle) Reissdorf Kolsch (4.8) Pick of the bunch - after the conference I went to visit my Dad, and he'd picked up a crate or two of this whilst in Germany.

Draught Alfa and Mythos. Cold and wet, perfect when it gets above 30 degrees.

(Ouzo for when it cools down)

I had a can of that Cold Brew Coffee Guiness tonight. I am no longer counting different beers as we are well into beer festival season and the numbers could get quite high but I quite liked this one. Although the pressure in the can and the rate at which it came out of the can and at first onto the floor meant that I probably only drank about 3/4s of it!

About This Thread

and here we are in 2025....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise, besides it's quality I prefer not volume.

Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2025, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.

Also interesting to see how variable local areas are!
