I saw a Brew by numbers in a pub in Shrewsbury but it was a tad powerful as I drank a pint already and we were off to eat shortly after, I think I missed out they get good reviews.

Weath
5. Brunswick - Triple Hop 3.8%
6. Brunswick - Railway Porter 4.3%
7. Shiny - 4 Wood 4.5%

^^^^^ all earlier this week and I've had before.

8. Welbeck Abbey - Doddington Hall Celebration Ale 4.0% (and new for me)

Picked up in the farm shop at Doddington Hall after doing the parkrun there this morning. A pale ale from a local brewery down the road at Worksop, Notts.

numbers 6 and 7 on my draught/cask list tonight
pint 6 Cocow - chocolate milk stout 4.8% from Ampersand Brewery. On my favourites list and has been my beer of the week on the CAMRA podcast in the past. A pint in the pub and a 4-pint carry out brought home

pint 7 a half of something by Wildcraft brewery in Norfolk - the beer list in the pub just said Wildcraft but I think it was a 4.1 and it was golden-ish so I think it may have been Wildcat. I've had their bottled beers before but didn't know before this evening that our local pub could also stock their cask beers.

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
