Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

It's still a great song. Even if she's got a bit of a ropy voice.

Maybe using two keyboards at the same time qualifies as “prog”. 🙂
She definitely has a better “studio” voice, but there again most singers do!

Yes, I listened to the studio version just now. All things considered the live version is pretty good.

There's a hint of syndrums in the studio version. :-o

Love syndrums, hate autotune.

I tried listening to some of that Ornette Coleman which Glenn likes (featured album on the Freak Zone). I tried, I really did but after about three minutes had to lunge for the mute button screaming "my ears, my ears!".

Dvorak, I would recommend Change of the Century as something reasonably accessible.

Some of the other stuff? In the words of Roy Eldridge: "I'd listened to him all kinds of ways. I listened to him high and I listened to him cold sober. I even played with him. I think he's jiving baby."

I am going to use the phrase “I think he’s jiving baby” today in conversation if it kills me :)

Good afternoon music lovers and tone deaf hippy scum.

As I mentioned on my blog I have a couple of tickets going spare to see Robyn Hitchcock here in Cambridge on Thursday evening if anyone is interested.

The mullet on the bass player is worth the entrance fee alone :)
