Thrice disguised. Fantastic effort from all runners, organisers, marshals and supporters! It was great fun. (And, like HT, I'm not quite "with it" yet in spite of not having run, so will take some more time to process, sift through photos and maybe write a blog later on.) |

Dockie
Messed up big time....first ever DNF! Half way i was on target for my sub 3 30 target, but at 15 cramp took hold. Kept on going, albeit much slower but collapsed at 20 next to the Great North Road. St John's Ambulance worked on both my cramped thighs as i rolled around in agony. By 23 i'd gome completely so walked off. Very down as i was enjoying it till halfway. No idea what happened, one of those things. Brampton in 3 weeks...i'll be back. Chin up, pecker up, etc.

Sorry to hear that Dockie. Saw you being treated by St John's as I came by, you looked in a bad way. Good luck at Brampton. :-)G
