Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not sure what by milage will be next year. But can I return to the fold this coming year?

Pushed for 2000 this year but found I wasn't bothered by the numbers and ended up at about 1800. So if you are happy to take in someone that is aiming for some miles that may end up between 1000 and 2000, I'll join in :-)

Certainly aiming for 1500 (1800 this year), but I am wondering about putting a cap on: not more than 1600 in the year, maybe, to see if it helps my speed and ability to get dressed without sitting down. Or as I'm retiring in a few months, could go mad and aim for 2000.

EJ and RIC you are more than welcome to join. Don't lurk jump in and enjoy the enjoyment of running. If you hit 1500 miles is great but it's not essential.

Chris, are you sure about running more when retired? Won't you be taking the bus with your free pass 😉?

Have joined the group but am planning to spend less time on the thread and internet in general, will certainly pop in from time to time though. Am glad after three years in charge that Jono and now WW have taken on the thread so is in good hands, best place to be on Fetch (except the training log :-) )

In again for the fifth year in a row :-)
Targets for the year (so far):
- Sub-12 hours for the Highland Fling
- Then three Lake district marathons in a row - Windemere, Scafell Pike and Coniston (all within 9 weeks of the Fling :-o )
- Err, take the rest of the year off apart from Clyde Stride ultra and Beachy Head marathon....

With the our marathon plans coming together for 2014 I'm hoping to meet many of you in like real life.

We are also doing Conistion so hope to see you there IanS.

I'm with you on the less internet stuff TT. Sometimes I think Fizz and myself spend too much time on the internet but then after she chicked me in the ultra / marathon yesterday I'm happy in cyber space just grunting at her :-)

Hello

I accidentally did 1500 miles this year so it might as well be my target for 2014. :-)
