[We call 'em that at home. Or just "snozz". Historical domestic getting-the-kids-to-eat-salad reasons. I can't believe it's taken me until five weeks into the year to eat some.]

I had mushy peas tonight. Proper chip shop much peas that are a shade of green not quite found in nature. They can't be made from the same vegetable as peas can they?

Just spotted this thread. Take apples as an example; can you count different varieties separately (eg. Granny Smith, Cox etc.) or is it just apples? Or am I just being fussy?

Apples, tomatoes, lettuce count as one each. Citrus fruits are split out with judgement. Orange is different to clementine
