Completely forgot how to programme my watch for intervals its been so long (Sept 22 to be precise!). I then got to bus lane at skaters way and couldn't remember where on my watch I'd just programmed the session 10 minutes earlier, found it, thought I'd pressed start, so started sprinting, couldn't understand why it wasn't beeping when I'd almost got to the next set of traffic lights and realised I hadn't pressed start. So then I did, and I ran, and the recoveries were hard, and I ran out of road so had to turn which is hard when you're sprinting. But I did it and now I'm eating cake. And next week I'll be even better. The bus lane between skaters way and Staniland Way is perfect for 100m or 0.1mile sprints. Very well lit, good road surface, lots of folk around and only 2 buses, both of which I spotted coming miles away. Add a comment

Plan said 9 but BFL has been ill and so in order to get tea and chat post run, Lyn and I ran from Stilton and with the hills we downgraded to 8 miles. Lyn hated it from the start and had a few walks, I was determined to run all the way so looped back. Lovely run felt relaxed and easy and managed Caldecote Hill with no breaks, which a few weeks ago was an impossible task.
