well done John, nice running! Last time I did it I decided to make sure I was with stronger runners when we turned into the wind, which was a great plan, except that they were stronger and by the time I turned into the wind, I was on my own and knackered!
Pretty much the same with me today Bob, I was running on my own for all the hard miles at the end. I don't understand how they just keep running at the same pace into the wind! Ian, me too! I was only 2 seconds down on last years time at 6 miles, but then struggled in the wind. As soon as we got out of it I went back to a 5:45 mile to finnish.
Thanks Matt, the journey passed very quickly today with you and Stephan's company.
anything under an hour for 10 miles is shit hot running mate, well done.
theres nothing good about the wind when it comes to running. Still its a solid run mate
Well done John, great time in what sounded like difficult conditions. Perhaps we should have been running into the wind on those TT Wednesday nights for the practice!
