Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

KH at Cambs Tri, probably the best course for a PB of the lot.
Ran very well I surprised myself that I was in this shape so early in the season.

Gutted that I didn't get under 17 thought my pace was good enough for it, measured 3.16. Shame.

Still getting better, track work paying off. Cheers coach :-)

Well done Alan, great run. I think everyone is seeing the benefits of the resent track sessions. I wonder if Cambridge Tri is having there own series at Impington again this year? I would certainly like to have another go there:)
covbaldy
Your right John, its helping alot! I spoke with Alan about the longer reps and we are going to have to do them on the road! I said I was dissapointed to hear that. I hope they run that series in the summer its a good course.
brotherjohn
Yes, I don't really want to come all the way there to run on the road, the whole point is to run on the track. I am also dubious about making the intervals longer and longer. 2x5000m, what's the point of that? I will see if I can do my own think on the track after next week.
covbaldy
I agree John, if we can't get to stay on the track for the longer reps then lets do our own thing, happy to stay around 10 x 800 or 8 x 1000? In 2 sets of 4 or 5, sound good?
april_runner
Well done Al. Excellent!

Also agree running on road isn't ideal. I think we all travel there to make use of the track. That's the whole point!

Nice 5k, minute and a half quicker than me this year buddy !! Sub 16 no worries.
covbaldy
I think you mean sub 17 MrP but I'll take sub 16 :-)
Daz Man
Lol yeah. Maybe sub 16 once you get the house finished !!
covbaldy
Your right!
Please wait... saving your change.
