The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
A strange race today, I thought I'd go better then this I have to say but perhaps I'm expecting too much too soon.
I've only really got 5/6 weeks of decent training and maybe only 4 weeks of top training under my belt but the track work has made big improvements.
I was trying to hold something back for the 2nd half but it was never there! I felt tired after about 4K so I was pleased to keep Uffy in sight and the new guy from BRJ cheers SPREAD, you looked solid out there buddy. We worked well pulling back Uffster, and I had something for the hills which was good, shame I could quite catch him though. Still big improvement from a few months ago. Please to pull back the final mile time though shows some strength coming through at last.
Head down with a month of decent training now I hope for Breckland 10K and then Cambridge Tri 5k, be interesting to see what these races bring.
Nice to see Daz man cheering in the 'baldy' in. A good day perhaps could have been slightly better but good progress.
As for the race one of the best organised around as for the course, its a tough one. Shame I never got strong over the x-country season.

Well done Alan, that's a good solid run after what is not much more than a months training. And it's not a quick course anyway, remember John did just over 36 at Thorney last week, so if you were close to him, your time is better than it looks. 10x800m tomorrow at the track:-)
Daz Man
You looked pretty comfortable on the last bit baldy and it's not a good course to run hard on trust me. Looks good for the 5k over the summer mate if you're running that well already. 10 x 800 - nice, my kind of session. 2.40s for them ?

Cheers fella, I'm learning to relax, even when under intense physical pain Yeah the course is a real Sh*£er isn't it!

Needs to be around the 2.40 mark, yes.
