Oh no. How disappointing. Any other factors?
Tired, short on quality training since, coincidentally, exactly the point where my parkrun times started slowing up. Perhaps connected
For context, it's largely trail and has a proper hill in it, it is genuinely a minute slower than the routes I've been doing lately, but it isn't two minutes slower (and I was targeting a minute slower than I could run on the flat in June which didn't seem unreasonable).
Next time maybe
Try not to be too down. You know the causes. Annoying about the course being short that time.
It's fine, I was briefly cross about it but disappointing rather than dreadful is all really; this was a convenient weekend to try rather than one where I was really on form for it. I volunteer regularly at another local parkrun so don't get to this one much!
Fair enough. There will be other Saturdays.
