Notes & Comments

Hard work that, especially the last 5 miles, but kept running. I’ve had 20mile runs at slower pace that were more of a struggle late on, so feel on course for NDW50 though there’s a lot to do still.

Route plan went out of the window early on when I got to an underpass signed CLOSED FOR FLOODING TURN ROUND - never mind flooded, it was solid ice for 30m with no way round it - so improvised from then on.
Break at half way much longer than intended, should have prepped the stuff to pick up better. Needed a crew obviously 😂
New path count 1 round a reservoir, doesn’t show on the council map as a prow or permissive path so only discovered it existed yesterday. Lovely but WINDY.
