Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

Sleaford HM! 1:52:57 chip time, PB!!

Wow totally shocked by this as it was supposed to be just a training run. Aim was 9m/m and try and get under 2 hours, which thought would be tough on this course and windy conditions.

Difficult course with a really muddy, wet section, decided to just go straight through it all, not sure the other runners appreciated me thundering through spraying water everywhere :-)

Was worried after 5 miles that I had gone off too fast but then settled down and felt fine. Felt quite relaxed despite the wind. The uphill and wind up to mile 9 was quite tough but then turned left and had a great downhill section with back wind so just let myself go. Really surprised how strong I still felt and cardiac hill didn't really bother me. Hardest part was definitely the end section round the field into head wind, although really pleased with my pace and still had something left for a bit of a sprint at the end :-)

Well done
Old Man
Awesome PB on such a tough run, you need something flat, fast and boring, to go sub 1.50!!
