Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

Fenland 10 1:31:56 :-)

First time I've done this race and only third time i've finished a 10 mile race so was hoping for a PB.

Wanted to try and stick to 9:18 m/m the average pace I managed at GER. Really pleased I could do it and then tried to speed up a bit. The wind was quite strong in the second half so I stuck in and got on with it. It helped having people in front to aim for and over take. Felt quite comfortable towards the end so went for it in the last couple of miles. Very happy to get a PB by just over 7 minutes!!! Very tired and happy at the end :-)

Really good goody bag and t-shirt, will be wearing that on Tuesday night :-)

Massive thanks to Mr Features who very kindly gave me a lift there and back, supported us all and provided cakes after, despite not being able to run himself. Thats what WJ is all about :-)
