JulesR First shot at a XC race for 20-odd years. Better than last week's road relay - stayed with 1st leg pack for about 7 minutes before having to ease back. Nice firm surface except the sand by the sea and great weather. Apparently the course could have been meaner as it avoided Dragon Hill so that's a bonus. Enjoyed the atmosphere - will try again.
