Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

AlanO Not the best race of my life. Started too quick and the head went down a bit as I was passed by 6-8 people during the 2nd lap. Got it together better in the final lap. Not a disaster but I was hoping for better.

bedlam_g I had a stonking run today in perfect conditions. Looks like 6 days of diligently not racing has sorted my overracing fears.

hannkies An okay, if not spectacular race. Probably ought to have been a bit quicker than I was and felt good in training recently but felt a wee bit lacking during the race and maybe got into a comfort zone at some points. Excellent course layout, almost perfect running conditions and great to see some excellent performances all round so well done to everyone. Sneaked into top 50 ( 49th ) which I'm sure is a first at Districts level so thats a positive.

Ian Hmm, much like Richard Leyton, I wasn't particularly ready (I thought this was the same distance as the relays until late Friday night!), I started off too fast in lap one, watched everyone go by in lap two and managed to pick it up in lap three to regain a degree of respectability. As was often said at school, 'could do better'...

rleyton Gah. Just didn't really feel particularly ready. Did my usual thing of setting off far too fast, and couldn't sustain it. Just not really a particularly good showing from me.
