Jo-bee A very hot day and a challenging multi-terrain route. Beautiful scenery but very narrow in places, we queued up for nearly 2 minutes to get over the one and only stile which slowed everyone down and the parts run across open fields were the hardest for me as there was no shade at all and it was bumpy and uneven underfoot. I don't think multi-terrain races are for me really. Bad time but considering the heat not too bad I suppose. First time I've ever stopped in a 10k race as the heat just killed me. This time is my Garmin time as I stopped it for the queuing bit, once we started moving I started the watch again. Official time was 58.03.

vaccy This was a very tough course , with mixed terrain and some very rough sections- especially the last kilometer. In may ways the most difficult feature was all the gates and stiles in the first 5K- as it was almost impossible to get into any rhythm. However, as long as you were not going for a quick time, it was a friendly, well-marshalled and enjoyable race. Congratulations to all those taking part!! Hopefully see you again next year.
