mystique100 A good sized event that was very well marshalled and there were very few moments of congestion along the route. I was born and lived in Hackney for 21 years and I was shocked by the number of ascents on the route. Around mile 12 there was an unforgiving ascent/hill in the Olympic park that almost made me curse out aloud! Regardless of my personal opinion of the ascents, I would do this event again as it brought out and showcased the best of my old area.
