Grey Badger Hope to beat my time from last year(63m 41sec) and maybe even my PB but dont know if i will. Looks like it may be a warm day but at least there is going to be a follwing wind not like last year. UPDATE!!! Beat last years time by 1m 18sec but disapointed as the conditions for a fast time were perfect. It clouded over before the race with a nice gentle breeze helping on most of the course. I just didnt feel right from the start, legs felt heavy and no power in muscles when i wanted it. Finished 42nd in a what seemed a big field.

Miss Sweden Did this a few years ago and really struggled (I had a heavy cold at the time) Can't remember what time I did. Am aiming for 1hr 40, which is just slightly faster than my marathon pace. i really need to work on my pacing as I keep failing to hit it right!

Ok, so I did way better than I thought I would. Well chuffed with this. I really didn't think I could run this fast after doing so much slow running for the marathon. This has been a real confidence builder.

Lisrun Not a pb course for me, but its very attractive countryside. Hope to get under 80 minutes which will be my fastest time for this course. *Update* Very pleased to get under 80m for the first time on this course. Weather was much cooler than in the previous three years which helped, but I did a tough race yesterday, so I am very happy. Again roads closed and they moved to two drinks stations this year which was a good idea. Food to all finishers. This is a good race passing through attractive countryside.

RununMan Okay, assuming i'm in good shape, i will go for as close to 60min as possible. This will probably mean a slow death from about the 8mile mark ... but what the heck, nothing ventured!! UPDATE; Major goal achieved today!! Well pleased with time and the race, Tyne Valley is a great place to run. Did not take in as much scenery as i would have liked, as it was tough going at times. Well organised by Tynedale - will look forward to this one next year.
