paskha 37th Half / 8th Truro Half. I'd only run SEVEN miles in July 2005 due to work & other pressures - then new Leisure Centre in Penzance opened on 12th August 2005 and I'd been able to swim & gym & get back running (mostly outdoors) Previous year, 2004, I had clocked 2:07, which was good for me on this course (all Halfs in Cornwall are hilly). On the day I had a cold !! so started really gently, but cranked it up over the last 3 miles, doing sub-9 mins per mile .... felt good
