kudu Not a great race for me. Started OK, with fairly decent pace and feeling OK. Lack of training and bad preparation showed at about 4-5 miles when Colin opened a small gap and made it into a big one going up the hill and into the gale over Holywell bay. Lost it a bit mentally and physically once I'd stopped gunning for it. I couldn't get the pace up, or even the effort. Really struggled for a mile or so but then picked up a second wind and managed to hold onto second. More training needed and decent race preparation too!

steeplechaser Tough 10 miler. Slightly short 9.93 but made up by amount of hills, terrain including 400m on the beach. The wind was strong which meant even downhill stretches were hard sometimes. Dissapointed with my time, although still came 53rd & 4th V50. I think I need to put more training miles in & certainly more hill work.
