kenster Better course than last year,still plenty mud and hills but very enjoyable.Pleased with second place.

iceblue This course gets longer every year and measured 5.43 miles on the Garmin, but still managed a pb!! Felt really comfortable on the first two flat miles and saved some energy for the hills in mile 3. Managed to keep the pace going better on the slippy muddy downhills in mile 4 by wearing trail shoes this year. Felt really good in mile 5 but legs got a shock hitting the additional beach and field section added on at the end. Heard footsteps behind me with the finishing line in sight and managed to produce a massive sprint finish to end up 2nd lady out of 29!! Really enjoyed the race and felt that I paced it well this year.
