dood It was hot, it was hilly and I decided to try and keep up with Norm - a ploy that worked until about 3 miles after which things got slower & slower. Positive splits are not for me..... Big downhill section wasn't too good for the knee.

hammerite Was going well upto top of the hill, then stitch struck (probably worse since I've been running) and I couldn't get rid of it so plodded into the finish.

Lycra Hurricane Despite my intent, I went off too quickly and had no 'sprint' left in me for the last 200 meters. A good solid prep for next Monday though.
