Gasheader Try to match last years time, first race since christmas. Will be good to see how the training is going. *UPDATE* Got a terrible start kept getting boxed in for what seemed like forever . Recovered to respectable 21:30 at 5k (for Me) I thought Id be close to last years time but Im Afraid dropped a minute on the return. Good to see Lisrun (what happened to that pacemaker watch ?) Time not yet official I think it was 44:08 not so bad offical time 43:57 80/426

Lisrun Done this twice, its flat and fast provided you can get space in the opening kilometer. Follows the river so the only climbs are up to the two bridges that are crossed. They also seem to have lengthened the course.... this may explain my good times here over the last two years :-( *Update* Slightly different course this year because of building work, but I think its still 10K. Took it easy in the first half, but couldn't resist the temptation to speed up in the second half. Good to see a few fetchies there :-)

pauliev I am entered for this race, just hope I have recovered from the Redcar Half! My second race, thankfully shorter than my first but not predicting any easier but if you dont try you never know! Just got the official finish time, manage to beat my predicted 1 hour.

makem 1 hope to run this one , sounds like my type of race , sheltered and flat lol . getting time of from work permitting *update* cracking race , well organised , well marshelled, nice scenery, canny t-shirt . pleased with me time , tho not a pb , first 5k went well for my own standards, (20:07) but in the second 5k struggled to keep that pace but came home 42:57 , so was happy all round, great day
