Chockaholic time was ok but mile splits were very inconsistent. didn't feel the liveliest before the start.

Belper Bear Was looking for a July race and found this. My Mum was really well looked after in Heanor hospital in her final days, so it will be nice to give something back.

tangledfeet Close to home so decided to enter at the last minute rather than train! Felt I was running faster than this, twists, turns and slippery surface slowed me down.

sLickster Race used as a tempo training run. Whoops, a 40 second PB. Great organisation, nice course, although a bit tougher in the rain than would be on a cool summers evening! Some markers a bit out, but great marshalls. I won my first even spot prize too! (a T-shirt and a bottle of real ale - nice one!) PS. Hubrun if you were in a blue striped top I think I went past you with about 500m to go :-) PPS. Good to see DERBYRUNNER himself on the mike at the beginning starting us off.
