Silver Strider 4:09:39 for the 30 miles. Beautiful sunny morning that got warmer and made me smile more and more. Entered on the day, expected to drop out after the half mara, enjoyed the first lap so much I stayed out for a second, and then a short 3rd. Marshalling to 30m ultra in 4 hours :-) No speedies ran the 30, I only turned and did the extra 4 because no one else had!! :-0 The only time I have ever come first in an event:-) For 4 hours I found a rhythm and all the noise went away. Thank you Simon C for pointing this out to me yesterday and for telling me to go and have fun, this morning.
