Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

fetcheveryone Hard work at the Stevington 12k. First 3-4 miles were very strong, but then my lack of distance came knocking. That and my cold, which I'm still feeling the effects of. But I don't think I spent much time actually all the way out of my comfort zone, which is a nice realisation. Ok, so at times I was just about hanging on to my comfort zone - but generally it felt good. A second toot on my inhaler at around 9k gave me a boost, as did a friendly tussle with a moustachioed bald man. The warm weather was nice, and the breeze took the edge off nicely. Amazing treacley flapjacks at the end - a real feel-good local race with very good organisation, and the opportunity to dance to 'Staying Alive' coming down the finishing straight.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) 3rd lady & 1st FV, would have been 2nd lady but had to stop for a 'comfort' break at 10k which included having to climb over a gate! Ran hard but not too hard, stopped at both water stations while I drank, also had to stop at 6k to stretch as I was doubled up with a stitch, feel that my fitness is coming back.
