Xeno This was a really fun race. The fact that there were so many people doing the run in fancy dress etc meant that the atmosphere wasn't too serious (though I am sure there were some people up at the front who were caning it round the course) so very good for beginners and back-of-the-pack runners like me. This is the first time I've tried this run, I thought it would lead out of the village and into the countryside, but instead it winds around the streets of Sawston. This makes for good crowd support (lots of people were coming into their front gardens to cheer the runners on). Also there were clear distance markers and plenty of water being handed out on the course.
