DANBERT The whole purpose of this race was for me to acquire some speed and maintain my strength so that I can have a good crack at the National Cross Country Championships. In that respect I think the race was successful. Without wishing to sound to critical, I have to say that this wasn’t really my idea of a trail race as most of it was on a circular, tarmac, cycle path. Great goodie bag and excellent value though.
