About this parkrun

2.5 laps on tarmac and canal paths. One steady hill three times, 47m elevation gain total. Free parking available in large carpark but quite a walk. Nice course.

2.5 laps up and around the park, with a nice canalside section and a reasonable climb faced 3 times in the 2.5 laps. Park at Nostell Priory for free, 5 minute walk to the start. Some slippy corners, canalside can be muddy but road shoes friendly.

Possibly my favourite to date. Mostly tarmac with a short section along the canal that might be muddy in poor conditions. Hilly but didn't feel so. Parking easy, with a warm up stretch to the start. Very friendly, small field, 2.5 laps!

Surprisingly nice. Seems like a normal town park but has a surprise section along the Bridgewater canal which is great. Worse thing is the starting hill: hit it before you're ready!

Hilly but a very nice course. Make sure you visit the community cafe afterwards.

Almost 3 laps. One challenging hill which is tackled three times. Mostly tarmac and some well surfaced towpath.
