Baron Fresh off a s/c win on the track, so confidence is high. My legs are now recovered, so aiming to blitz this one and unleash 11 weeks of endurance training. #update: much more undulating than I expected, no taper so legs were quite stiff, survived and came 6th, equalled my PB!

RFJ Could be close to a fetch PB, how much is it worth for failure.... Great Bustard was the beer that we got at the end and replicates the race...... a BUSTARD............ Pewsey, home of the terminator and the rough and tumble, ok, we didnt do those hills but it wasnt pancake flat I'll tell you.... in fact I dont recall a flat bit.... so the Mid week pewsey 5m..... So a swift warm up (after 3m at lunch...) of 1m and stretches and to the off, plan secretly was 33:45.. Mile 1 - 6:42 hmm good pace can I hold it Mile 2 - 6:40 well it seems I can despite the undulations Mile 3 - 6:40 still holding and having a ding dong battle royale with a girl from salisbury, did I mention the undulations... Mile 4 - 6:33 what, Im going faster now and on track Mile 5 - 6:39 and salisbury girl goes past.... sorry cant accept that one as been ahead since 1.5m so kick for home.... 33:14 a Fetch PB and my first race as an OLD MAN of V40 to a well earnt bottle of Great Bustard..........
