Boab 6.5 miles. First race post injury and since I started running again on the 1st of the month, so I am farily pleased with result of 39:50 (time by my watch). It works out at roughly a 38 minutes 10K, which means I am about 20 seconds per mile down per mile than I was pre injury in March. Weather was dry byu very windy. There were part of the course that were fairly well sheltered by trees etc, but you could always feel the wind working against you. The race itself was farily well organised. I had pre entered so when I entered the sports centre and saw the huge queue I was glad I had. I popped my head in the door of where the queue was coming from to see where the pre entered queue was and there was only one queue. So I asked a guy if this was the pre entered queue, and he said

Ands Ran well, it's a fast flat race, first time I've done this one, good conditions, quite shetered from strong wind.

Screeners Enjoyed this race, flat and fast and familiar, good conditions, really pleased with time considering the route is probably closer to 6.7 than 6.5 miles.
