_andy For £3 there's a fantastic cafe in Newburgh that does amazing cakes. Amazing value! And you get a race thrown in for free to go with it. Best bargain around. As for the race, it was a longer course than last year's 4.2 miles: my Garmin got 4.51 miles and others I spoke to got 4.54 and 4.56. Plus, it was on grass at the edge of a field for much of mile two, instead of along a nice friendly farm track. A time of 29:27 was 23rd/133 and 118.2% of the winning time, which I'm pretty pleased with after three BIG fell runs in the last four days. Tapering? Not this week. Big well done and thanks to Fife A.C. once again.
