Cat the Dog Lover Dont know how flat/hilly or accurate this run is. Plus I might have burnt feet after walking on hot coals the night before (which might need soothing with medicinal alcohol!) This is not my official time but my start line to finish. A bit hilly and a nice surprise to see Rhino there. Ran on my own for pretty much all of it. Enjoyed the view.

Gasheader Ran a PB at this race last year , think it improbable that I can improve on last years time. But I will be giving it my all , last year cold (freezing ) otherwise perfect conditions for running rain or wind could Knacker me this time...... Well conditions almost identical to last year biting cold and slight wind in face for first couple of miles. Overjoyed to have run 46 secs faster than last year . My six mile split was 40:15 so one day a sub 42 10k should be possible. My only problem was being isolated with no one to race with could not bridge gap to group ahead and long way ahead of runners behind me. sure I could have run faster with company. JK was 20 secs behind me last year but ran me into the ground today. Oh well maybe next year... today just got better official time 6 seconds better! and my best finish 32/210.

Rhino Last minute decision to use this as part of a long training run for a bit of a change. Jogged 4 miles to the start and 4 miles home after the finish. Meant to keep it at 10+min/miles but didn't succeed. Very enjoyable race, hilly enough to make it 'nicely challenging', Camelbak fell to bits so had to jog back to pick the pieces up at one point, and saw a couple of familiar faces which was nice.
