Kristi G Well today i signed up for this run and knew straight away i would be last. I was surrounded by runners from clubs, totally out of my depth! I started too fast and so lost my breathing very early on, before i even got to the 1 mile mark i was seriously thinking of quitting. However, a great friend stayed with me and spurred me on. I finished 2nd to last, LOL! I would definately say it was an experience! I actually enjoyed the course and considering it was my first XC and i feel quite proud of myself now, as i've only been running for 6 months and 8 months ago i was nearly 5st heavier than what i am now, so over all i think YAY me!
