About this parkrun
Lovely, easily accessible park. We walked from elsewhere in the town but I spotted 2 car parks on the edge of the course. 3 laps when I did it in April which is winter course.SarahWoo 26th Apr 2019
Within a nice park. You have a mixture of grass and tarmac, and a variety of scenery, with a skate park, children's play area, ornamental beds and sports pitches. A bout a mile to walk from Hurst View campsite.

Summer course: 1 short lap then 2 longer laps. Mix of grass, gravel and tarmac. Very gentle elevation changes. Free parking at leisure centre on North Road about 1 km from start.

Approx. 2.5 laps, a lot of it on grass, with some zigzagging around football pitches with kids chasing after occasional wayward balls. Quite muddy when I ran it (March), so had to brace myself in quite a few places to avoid slipping.
