gcwenn Not a great race. A poor attempt to get everyone warmed up at the start by some screeching girl on the microphone. Could not really get started for 2km due to the narrowness of the tracks and the water station was just a complete joke

snogard I think this race/run could have been better organised. The start was great, though the mass warm-up left much to be desired. It was not possible to see the leader as the stage was off to one side and there was no big screen available. The route itself was lovely all off road along trails and the canal bank, the path undulated around the sports village. IT was quite enjoyable. The water stations hit a slight problem, as the cups had been stolen, there was no water on the route - well the big barrels of water were visible but no-one was bale to get a drink. Lesson for next time, take own water. The goody bag contained a t-shirt, sizes not as advertised, my medium is an XL and there was no water available at the finish. I would rather do a run like this knowing that there is no goody bag but water being available. This was not a good run in this respect. First-time out for Fetch Vest
