automatic shoes Oh b*gger ! I was still on target at half way (25:44) - but was already slowing down. At about 3k I became aware of a twinge at the top of the back of my left leg, which just became more and more uncomfortable as time went on. So much so I had to have one minute walk breaks at 8k and 9k, just for some relief. So apologies to all those who had bet on me.

goonerno1 First race since being on holiday flat and fast can't wait, going to be my quickest 10k. very happy with the time but i know i can get near 36min, nice meeting a few fetchies also.

Hills of Death (HOD) Very local race - need to beat my Mate who's not normally a runner (footballer) doing this in favour of the club champs race i.e Felstead. Well I beat my mate just 13 secs did not have a good run really. 1st half ok slow about 30 secs a mile second half. Not good. Met a few fetchies they all had good runs.
