Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

gilly b It was as bad as I imagined! Probably the hardest (/hilliest!) race I've ever done. Suffered big time 10-11k, Big Davie kept me going. Happy with time as was hoping to get under 1.15. I'd definitely do race again.

Jamis Great tough hilly course, first time that I have ran this one. Exactly what it said on the tin, hilly and tough and windy!! Slower than I hoped but really enjoyed it, had to put a sprint in at the last 200m to get under the 1 hour. And what a great goodly bag!!

Vic Mason Tough wee hilly course which is being organised by my club the Kirkintilloch Olympians. 1st time for a 12.5k race and predicted 55 minutes, ideally would love to go sub 50........see what happens. UPDATE> I had a good race today. Started off at an easy-ish pace for the 1st 3k & settled in nicely. I was a little surprised to see Guiseppe at about the 5k point so I tried my best to try & catch him, however it took me to the 11k to by-pass albeit I knew he was suffering a little from a heavy cold. Felt reasonably strong throughout & had to work hard the last few kilometers against a strong headwind. Over the moon with 14 place finish.
