Alun Went out really hard - I think that I even led for a few metres 😂 - and tried to hang on for as long as possible, the lead four pulled clear by the end of the thinning out loop and the next six including Gareth and myself pulled clear of the following runners. I briefly took 5th place during the 1st full lap and moved backwards and forwards between 5th and 8th as the race progressed through the 3rd lap when fatigue started to kick in. Hanging on at the end but was clear in 8th place. Great packing from Noel (4th), Gareth (5th) me (8th) and Martin (21st) saw us successfully defend our M50 team title from 2019! Great racing everyone!! 🏃💪🥇
