Alun Not exactly the best preparation for this race, 4 hours sleep after flying in from Spain in the early hours but what the heck I did it anyway. Probably went off a bit quick but soon settled down to a more sensible pace after 4 miles and held this until the last couple of miles which were much tougher once the temperature started to rise. Happy with the time, will probably aim for another half before the year is out (Maidstone???)

Mrs Gandhi Ran with Roy until 6 miles. Ran along the coast road from Cliftonville, Broadstairs to Ramsgate and back. Great scenery, small sandy inlets and beaches. Some lovely big houses with gate security. Great marshalls, met some very friendly people and really enjoed the whole day and weekend. A great birthday treat.
